just wondering if anybody has the same problem, my 53 plate furby vRS (red) paint is fading in just one spot, just under the drivers door on the sill, it is about 4 inch long and the whole height of the sill, now i had autoglym protection put on it, also i clean the car reg i.e weekly, and give it a good coat of wax at least every 2 months, im taking it in too skoda this week

Possibly a repair before you got the car, a lot get minor dinks in transit & are repaired by the manufacturer before sending to the dealer or it might be a dealer dink, it is more common than most people think Apear anoyed but dont get too het up inside, just get them to fix it properly & if you have any other little nicks ask for them to be done FOC as a way of passifying you ;)

Someone I know has a body shop & had a contract with a jap manufacture to fix cars after they came off the boat, some were quite seriously damaged.
