Does anyone know if they are planning  a Superb  2.0 TSi R    (320 PS)

 

VW now have the Arteon  out as this spec

 

hopefully  the Superb will be next ??

I very much doubt it, they wouldnt want a skoda to out do the VW, Audi and Cupra premium brands on power now

Also the speedy Skoda is the Octavia vrs.

Very unlikely TBH, they're more likely to kill the 272/280 completely.

 

VAG are fairly strict on the brand hierarchy - the Skoda product will have to be lower power than the VW equivalent.

Thats a shame - but I suppose I can always get a stage 1 remap on my 280

Recent news is that VW are set to push Skoda further down market to compete and stop cannibalising sales. Don't see how successful they'll be with a Dacia strategy given the following the brand has, but they'll likely only have one halo car in future - the Octavia VRS
