Yeti 150 upgrade

Featured Replies

A very interesting write up. Thank you Darrell and all other participants.

I have a 150 SE and have just sold my 438bhp Mk7 golf r estate .

I have some original parts from the golf and wonder if they’d be any use on the Yeti.

Parts are :-

Intercooler.

Rear anti roll bar.

Turbo.

Front and rear springs/ shockers.

Downpipe and exhaust system .

Am thinking about a remap in the future, any recommendations?

Cheers

Intercooler (if not a kit) and turbo might work although the flow rate might be off if coming from something so highly tuned.

The rest is unlikely to fit as it's a different platform I think.

Seconded.

Thank you for your response.

The parts I have are from a standard  golf r (310 BHP) .

The highly tuned parts were sold with the car.

Pete

Unlikely that any will fit in that case. Best selling the bits and putting the money towards new bits. I've seen a yeti at a very high state of tune so it's a very capable platform. Enjoy.
