Hello everyone, I’m Lee and I’ve just got myself a 2009 Skoda Octavia estate. 2.0 TDI DSG.
My wife’s had a 2003 Skoda Octavia 1.8 turbo petrol 4x4 for many years now and it was the fact it’s been such a good car, that got me looking at them.
I came across the forum whilst researching various bits and bobs and now I own a Skoda I thought I’d join up.

Has anyone encountered any software, malfunctions, collision prevention, sos, battery, etc. problems in the 2025 Skoda Superb models? There are so many complaints etc. written about the models of 2024 that I cannot buy a new vehicle because I am afraid. We bought our Scala Monte Carlo Edition 1.5 tsi back in December and from late January it has had both mechanical problems and electronic gremlins. The mechanical problem have mostly been sorted, new rear discs and pads that were making noises like a wheel bearing was rumbling, the gearbox has had a software update and a reset (it's still not perfect). And the road noise is just the high dB tyres and lack of sound insulation. The electronic gremlins were put down to a failing 12v battery which

Is there an option to code the mode select option to pre-FL Octavia MK4 with 1.5 TSI engine? There isn't a button, obviously, since the equipment wasn't selected at purchase. However, AFAIK, you can select and customize the driving mode through the infotainment as well. Also, does the mode selection actually bring any noticeable effect on the engine responsiveness and steering feel? Thanks!

My 2012 Citigo ASG vehicle has developed a new fault. After a few hundred metres driving the engine suddenly revs high (then drops) and does not change gear. The amber (not red) cog warning light is displayed in the rev counter area. I read that this could be one of several issues that a OBD2 diagnostic check will reveal. My local independent garage that I use has said it would be safe to drive it to them to run the checks but they are eight miles away and I'm reluctant to do so. I could conta

Hi, I own a Skoda Superb 3 – it was manufactured in last months of 2020 and it is 2021 model year. I see that everyone on the forum started the updates from at least 0278 software version and I have (I suspect because of first facelift batch) currently 0270 software and I want to update it to 0330. My device is 3V0035816E, hardware H22 and software 0270, Poland. I’ve found a “path” to 0324 form 0278 (0278 -> 0306 -> 0308 -> 0324) downloaded software for my device version:
