Rear window de-mister

Featured Replies

Has anyone had a problem with the radio cutting out when the rear window de mister button is pressed on? done a full scan and no fault codes coming up

cheers

Seen this on some Audis - the rear demister is also used as an aerial and there is a filter that separates the radio signal from the demister power, when this fails the radio signal is lost when the rear demister is turned on as you describe.

Only way I know is to replace the filter.

As you can see from my signature I no longer have access to the Octavia 3, so I'll have to let current owners comment ...
