I've changed my stereo to a standard double din one
I've got the plate which makes it a VW shape!

 

What I need help with is Skoda!

They cannot find the correct surround part number so I can order the one with the smaller aperture (not the Bollero size) - I beleive it is sat nav size?

 

Does any one have one fitted standard? if so, any chance of giving skoda a reg and asking for the part number? or if you happen to have the correct part number... 

Skoda seemingly can only look this up against my reg.. which has the incorrect size as standard

I've had a good root round, but they only list the same one as Skoda described which is the aftermarket faschia 

🤷‍♂️

Might be worth adding a picture of your old surround along with the full part number including colour code (stamped on the rear).

 

Should be relatively easy to figure out from that.

That's an aftermarket item but if the AC cutouts and colour matches your existing trim, then excellent

If so, I'd probably try Skoda in the UK to avoid all the post brexit import BS

 

I tried one of those plastic infil kits, and they are aweful.. so flimsy It went back.. hence this original route..

I thought you were looking to fit a standard double din.

 

The search criteria I mentioned all show what you previously specified as correct.
