I know this will have bee asked a million times before but I'm stuck in that no man's land of what to choose.

 

In summary I'm after a better headlight given how weak they look on my 2016 mk3 Scout.

 

They must be legal ... so no ebay mega LED 12v wire vaporisers , and I've got it down to either the Philips xtreme pro 150, osram nightbreaker laser 150, or nightbreaker silver.

 

I'm not after styling, or having to change a bulb every week cos they blow all the time but I'm simply after a better bulb for dark country lanes.

 

Which would you choose ????

 

OK it's only £10-£20 but I want to see a difference and then jot have to buy again in a months time 🤔

Might not have an Octavia, but I did upgrade my bulbs to these. They're rather good, especially compared to the OEM candles.

I bought some Philips Racing Vision  for my Octavia in Feb 2020, so nearly 2 years now. They were £20. £24 now.

Not really sure how much difference there is between them all, But these were certainly brighter than the standard bulbs.

Thanks, thats two votes for Philips in different guises but i agree robs12 about not being sure what the differnece is between them all.

Below are the candidates ive listed which are £19, £12, £21.50... so i suppose the real question is do I spend the extra tenner for the "BRIGHTER" bulbs or just go for the osram silver 🤔

 

I'm always wary of advertising hype !
