variable service indicator on vRS

Featured Replies

ok... I thought the variable service thing wasn't operable on the fabia vRS... however (after a moments panic!) after I turned the car on this morning, I got a spanner, and the word "oil" comming on under the miles..... now I realise I can reset this myself, but why has it come on, after 13 and a half months, and 36,000 miles? I would understand if it's supposed to come after a year, but it's past a year old, I'd understand if it did it every 10k miles, but it's never come on before, (besides my next service is the 40k, whis is an inspection, so it should say "insp" instead of "oil")...

so why has it come on now? does this mean I could have run it all this time without a service if i was on "variable" ?! I know, doubtful!...

any ideas anyone? (note: the last service was done by a skoda dealer..)

Its not been set up correctly.

Just that your dealer didn't reset it after it's last fixed service :(

Beat me to it.

Edit: Ross - getting rid of the Primera already? That didn't last long

Yearning for something VAG again, tis a shame as the Primera is a top car.

Now back on subject ;)
