Hi, everyone!

I had a trusty Octavia about ten years ago, but when my driver's licence was confiscated because of a seizure I had, I sold it and didn't have a car until now. Not having one with a family around really started being a burden.

Got a cute little Mk III Fabia estate with 60k km on the clock, and apart from an occasional creak in the dashboard, I love it to bits. Hoping I can get tips for various improvements and maybe provide some of my own.

Hi Has anyone else had issues with Skoda Connect/My Skoda app since Wednesday this week? My 75 plate Monte Carlo came with 3 years worth of Skoda Connect included (My Skoda app, vehicle status, live maps, traffic alerts, online anti theft alarm etc), and since Wednesday it's completely stopped syncing despite it still being logged in. Looked online and can't see any issues? Although the Skoda Connect website says it can't find any available products/services for my car. Thanks

2014 SE. Had a low battery which failed to start the car. New battery. Car will start but dies after 3 seconds. Full tank of petrol. Dash engine light goes off but EPC remains on. Dash panel shows 'Safe' at all times. List of items checked: All fuses. Key fob battery. Spare key tried. Cam sensor changed. Ignition barrel and reader antenna changed. Crank sensor passes check. Fuel supply checked - OK. Throttle body checked. Multiple connectors checked. Battery disconnected, leads shorted. Dash pan

Hi. I know there's a 'considering buying' forum but this is about an oldie so I thought this may be a better place to post...(a query for the long committed fans?)? I already have a 2005 Octavia Estate (1.9TDI PD105) and it is by a country mile the BEST car I have EVER owned. I bought it in 2013 for <£2.5k and apart from needing to do the clutch straight away it hasn't needed much over the 80k miles I've done in it since.
