How much to replace a 2015 280 SEL ?

Featured Replies

According to Compare The Market it's £11k cant find any equivalent cars online but a few 2016 L&K's with around roughly the same miles ( around 38k ) for £24k +

I put down £20k for better or worse ...

If it only has 38k miles on a 6 year old car, might be better allocating say £2000 for servicing and repairs (and using the money pot to fix whatever it needs over next 2-3 years), rather than spending thousands more trying to change it during current market turmoil with lack of good secondhand cars.

Sorry I probably wasn't very clear ! I have no intention of selling the 11K was the valuation they gave for my  insurance renewal. I have a nice full Skoda warranty :)

I paid £20.5k retail for our March 2016 L&K 280 nearly two years ago. It had 19k and it now has 31. It’s an ex. Briskodian car, which meant I had complete faith in it straight away. He got 18k when he traded it in. It was originally priced at £22k. It’s now worth £23k trade. Yep. Prices are completely nuts.

I paid £20k for a 2018 67 plate 280 Sportline in sep 20 with 20k miles on and it now has 39.5k miles on yet looking on the Skoda used site and autotrader not long ago they’re still rare as rocking horse droppings and I couldn’t find one for less than about £23k with the same or worse mileage than mine has now. Factor in the newer 272 models and add another £3-5k.

Our sleeper Audi S3 / golf R’s are both rare and valuable it seems 😃
