DCC dynamic chassis control replacement costs? aftermarket?

Featured Replies

Bonjour

My 2017 245 octavia has DCC as a factory option, the kit is really good and would I have it again? definatly

My question is even though its working fine now, at some point it will need replacing (cars only on 53k so should be good for a while) .  I was ordering a new door locking mech from Skoda and while I had them on the phone, I asked how much it would be to replace knowing that it wouldn't be cheap but was not expecting £300 PER damper!!!!! with new springs at £120 each the total cost for just the parts is £1700 with fitting on top 😭

Has anyone been through this or tried an aftermarket direct replacement? monroe look like they do a adaptive damper after a quick look around but I can't find any info on any of the forums VW/Seat Audi etc where it has acutaully been done?

Coverdale car parts will likely be cheaper than that, if you send me your VIN I can give you the part numbers to allow you to shop around easier 🙂

Bilstein do both a B4 and B6 damptronic which I believe is a direct replacement for the stock DDC damper.

Still not cheap though :D

You star, I couldn’t find anything

I’ll keep this pinned in case I ever do need replacements
