I've got an Engine Check Light coming up and VCDS suggests a fault with number 3 glow plug and an intermittent short to earth on number 1 glow plug. I was going to just order a set and change them all. However, doing some further research I found reference to number 3 glow plug being different to the others in that it has a cylinder pressure sensor built in. Does anyone know if this is the case for my engine? Engine type; J623-CRLB. Fault code; 4986 for injector 3.
