R32 clutch. Is it enough?

Featured Replies

Bit of advice please.

My vRS is running 244bhp and 310 torque. Car is used for track days.

i am running a solid fly and a MK4 diesel clutch which has been okay till now, about 10 track days.

last Saturday when driving the sighting laps, (temp about 1 deg) I had a little clutch slip but it was fine during the day.

Now I have the gearbox out to enable my LSD to be repaired, I need to upgrade the clutch.

Am I correct in thinking that a lot of people fit an R32 clutch?

if so, is it man enough?

if not, what is a sensible priced upgrade?

I look forward to hearing your experiences.

I'd recommend the Darkside kit and get the uprated clutch which can handle more than 300lbft.
