Cruise control not available after "deep sleep"

Featured Replies

Hi, has anyone noticed the behaviour, when not using the car for longer period, that the cruise control would no be recognised. When you move the liver, it does not do anything?

I have Superb Sportline 2020 4x4 2.0TDI 190HP with Amadeus infotainment system.

Thanks for your thoughts / solutions.

You have to set the constant speed you want to maintain. Pull the lower left hand lever under the indicator lever towards you, accelerate to the speed you require, then press the button on the end of the lever to set. Reset speed again if you have used the brake pedal to slow down. Also, the left to right button on the top of the lever adjusts the gap between you and the car in front. Long, medium or short. Very useful on motorways or slow moving traffic. Push lever away from you to cancel cruise.

Not the question how to use it… more of a software bug or similar, because when I restart the car from scratch it came back… only when I wake up the car from deep sleep it is not available.

When you say deep sleep, what are you referring to?

leaving the car for a long time?

Disconnecting the battery?

Having the car off / not driving it for longer time.
You can notice deep sleep when the keeless is not working.

I thought I was going mad earlier today with the keyless entry - I'm glad I'm not!

In answer to your question, cruise still worked as it should.
