All good at 8pm headlights this morn permanently on can't hear handbrake operating though seems on. Plus obd has no power. Can I disconnect battery and just reconnect without coding it to car. To see of will reset.

Any chance the dashcam has flattened the battery?

Don't think so as car turned over normally. Plus dashcam is on a switched live.

Assuming it's connected into the fusebox directly, I'd be checked for disturbed fuses on the off-chance something has come out or loose.

Already looked at this possibility all good.

Needs scanning to find fault codes. Possible wheel speed sensor fault

What makes you think there is no power? Have you checked with a multi meter? Or just plugged a code reader in? If so, what code reader

Carista and carly. Both not powering up. 

That definitely sounds like a fuse or power issue...

 

I wonder if a fuse has been put in the wrong slot. A wiring diagram would help confirm where the obd port gets power from.

I just had a look at a Superb owners manual from 2016:

 

 

Fuse 8 would be my first suspect as all the systems listed match the systems you're having issues with

Right on the money, fuse 8 runs the canbus gateway which is the link to the obd socket.

 

 

I wonder if the poster has had any work done recently, dash cam, radio work or anything?

Behind the glovebox, need to drop the glovebox down and remove the check strap from the side.

If I count across there is No fuse in space 8, not had any work done and the dashcam been in a year piggy backed to rear wash wipe. I will look again in the light of day.

Update, it was indeed fuse 8. Cheers guys another trip to the stealers saved

We all want to know where it got to and how it came out. Don't leave us hanging 

Was blown and somehow left an open circuit. Cheers all 4 your help
