turn ign on   wipers  start   dont shut off   with intermittant  washers  ,,  am i looking at water ingress    or a controller   i can vary the speed of wipers  but they wont  shut off 

any ideas  tia 

step one - pull the fuse for the rear wipers. this solved it for me (yup for the front ones)

step two - dose the steering wheel stalk electricals with contact cleaner.

step 3 - any recent work done on the linkage mechanism? there was a thread about 10days ago with something similar. have a gander
