Wondering if anyone can help?

Where is the automatic lights sensor located on the Kodiaq please?

From the owners manual, item A

Thanks for the reply Kenny R.

While we are at this topic - I feel like the lights come on too soon in low light conditions. Any way to "remedy" this?

Poke around in the settings - there is an option that allows you to select 'early', 'normal' or 'late'.

Yeah, there's light sensitivity: low and high. Need to decipher.

Go Manual.

Knob On in winter months.  Off in Summer months.

Never when the knob stays in the ON position.

It's a matter of opinion whether the Skoda built in recommendation to switch lights on is right or wrong.

If drivers would take more ownership of their vehicle rather than leave so many things to the "automatic" gadgets that manufacturers are imposing on us, we'd all get along fine.

ps - I also think Its' crazy the way auto lights have been allowed to be installed, with cars running with twinkle lights on the front and none on the rear, flashing on then off when they pass through shady trees or under a small bridge. Madness.  Along with several other mad add ons.

I have found the answer to my post by searching through the menu`s.

I thought by posting it would save me time searching about.

Yeah...  I think removing the manual ignition advance lever from the centre of the steering wheel was when the rot really started to set in...
