Skoda fabia combi 2017 1.2tsi 4 cilinder 90HP possible to flash to 110HP?

Featured Replies

Hi There,

I own a skoda fabia 1.2tsi 90hp, i know they have the same car with 110hp, same engine only other ecu software.

I got VCP and VCDS, is there a "simple" way to do this or do i need more?

Greetings

Hi Marcel,

If i were you I would get in touch with a reputable tuner and see what they offer, VCDS is of no use regarding re-maping.

Try Revo technic ;)

Cheers

I wouldn't use dtintecno as they are based in Germany and are expensive. However, their website does give you an idea of what various engines can be remapped to. Unlike some remappers, their claims do seem realistic, eg. the 1.2 4 cylinder petrol turbo engine being remapped from 90PS/160Nm to 130PS/215Nm. The 1.2 has a small turbo which should help with excellent low down torque and therefore make it pleasant to drive around town and at economical cruising speeds yet with 130PS still have a decent amount of top end power.

Skoda Fabia 1.2TSI 90PS, 160Nm

remaps to 130PS, 215Nm

Skoda Fabia 1.2TSI 110PS, 175Nm

remaps to 130PS, 215Nm

As you can see above, the 90PS engine remaps to the same power and torque as the 110PS engine.

I dont want a tune, just the OEM software flash on my ecu.

They made 2 versions with the same engine, 90HP and 110HP

I would like the 110HP stock oem flash software on it.

So i was asking if someone know how to do this?

Like i said i got VCP and VCDS here

As above. You need a remap for that. Whether you want a stock tune or not you need someone who is willing and able. A dealer would have the stock tunes but I extremely unlikely to to be willing to load anything other than what can on the car. Unless you had a really good relationship with a dealer but if that was the case you wouldn't be asking on here.

Therefore the solution for what you want is a remap.
