Towbar swap… so I have 64 plate 1.6 diesel with a towbar attached but I’m thinking of getting a 17 plate 1.2 petrol yeti. Can anyone confirm that the towbar on my present car will be a straight swap, and fix on the newer car please ??

I would say yes!   But what about the electrics?

According to PF Jones they have the same tow bar, so yes it should be a straight swap.
Don't forget that you will have to swap the inner crash bar in the opposite direction.
As Tony implies, you will still need a new electrics set-up as that isn't a easy swap.
