Not with that centre bore.

You can fit a 225/40R18 tyre to a rim width of between 7.5" and 9".

However, Skoda normally fit a 225/40R18 tyre to the minimum 7.5" rim width.

Fitting a 225/40R18 to a 9J rim will make the sidewalls very stretched which will leave the rims very exposed to kerbing damage and give a very hard ride. Because the sidewalls would be so stretched, the 225mm nominal width tyre will be closer to an actual width of 245mm. Being so wide, this could cause rubbing.

As the 225/40 has very low sidewalls, the rims will be prone to getting damaged by potholes.

205/50R17 or 225/45R17 would give more comfort and protect the rims better than 225/40R18 tyres.

18" rims will make the 312mm diameter front brake discs on the VRS look small.

225/40R18 can be fitted to a rim width of 7.5-8-9.0

205/55R16 on perhaps 6.5Jx16 ET42 5/100 57.1 rims would be a lot more sensible and give a much better ride, far less prone to pothole damage, less drag, cheaper tyres, less prone to kerbing damage, and less tyre noise. Using standard tyre and rim sizes will also keep your insurance company happy.

If you have a centre bore bigger than 57.1mm you would need to use spigot rings so that the rims are centred on the hubs. Not using them would cause wheel vibration as the rims wouldn't be centred.
