Octavia mk3 vrs powerfold mirrors

I have bought powerfold wing mirrors and door control for my vrs and the have been coded. They still do not work. I thought door module was compatible on the vrs ? Is there anything else I could be missing? Thanks

Might be worth adding an autoscan from vcds to show what modules your car has etc...

@Del07 I just retrofitted folding mirrors on my 2016 VRS. All secondhand parts from various sources. I followed @SashaGrace detailed instructions and they were very helpful, might be worth a look to make sure all coding is complete. I used OBDeleven.

Related subject - my mirrors now fold and unfold out of sync! Tried disabling and re-enabling mirror folding in driver and passenger door modules but no joy - anyone got any suggestions please?

Hi everyone I'm upgrading headlights on a 2022 kodiaq from basic led to matrix (8IT basic LED) To: 8IU adaptive LED. Need a map of adaptations for 09 to correctly code them in. Anyone with vcds who can provide me with that please? Many thanks in advance.

Hi. I know there's a 'considering buying' forum but this is about an oldie so I thought this may be a better place to post...(a query for the long committed fans?)? I already have a 2005 Octavia Estate (1.9TDI PD105) and it is by a country mile the BEST car I have EVER owned. I bought it in 2013 for <£2.5k and apart from needing to do the clutch straight away it hasn't needed much over the 80k miles I've done in it since. I'm thinking of buying a 2021 vrs iv with 30k on the clock. Paranoia reigns, should l do it? What should l look out for on a test drive? I do about 8k a year. Short journeys with the odd long distance trio about 10 times a year. I'm reading lot's of stuff about infotainment glitches etc, which is scaring me. My current car is ageing 14 plate petrol vRS. I've had a 2005 Octavia Estate and have just had to dispose of it after 241,000 miles. I've replaced it with a Octavia 1.5 2023 Estate with 128,000 miles on the clock. The Car warehouse place I bought it from only provides one working key, but there was another in the pack that doesn't work with the car.
