Help ! Warning lights & battery

Featured Replies

Help!

Just driven for three hours to Exeter and the car wouldn't lock in the hotel carpark - rapid flashing hazards and tailgate flashing on the MFD .

All doors, tailgate we're secure, so I disconnected the battery for approx 2 minutes. Reconnected the battery and it locked as intended. I then started it up, all sorts of warnings on the dash (expected)

Question - will the warnings disappear after a period of driving/start stop cycles?

Thanks in advance

Those are normal when the battery is disconnected! They will go out after a while you drive the car. For the power steering to go out, do a full lock to left & right.

No need to do the lock to lock, I just drive normally away from my house which involves one normal right turn and after about 100m all the lights go out, always at the same place before I do the second right turn.
