Hello all.
After a lot of searching and waiting, I finally got my hands on a 66 plate pre-FL Octavia VRS. Been enjoying using it on my commute to work so far.
Just wondering if anyone knows what this bit sticking out on the underside is. Is this normal? It looks like a bunch of cooling or aerodynamic fins but I have no idea.

I say it is one of the plastic chassis covers.Mine is 2019.

Well,I will change my mind and say it is the larger (bigger)plastic shield.

Many thanks. Just curious as to what it was as I never seen anything like that on any previous car I owned.

I saw this on my previous 1.4TSI Octavia estate and was initially puzzled by it, but as said it seems to be a normal part of the underbody protection.
