Induction kit advice....

Featured Replies

Right guys... decided to keep the o.e.m exhaust set up but I want a little noise when I put my foot down so thinking an induction kit..... what would be best one to go for??? Cheers

Ram Air used to do some decent kits for the 1.8T, could be worth a look.

I ran one of their cone filters originally with the intake pipe, then bought one of their kits so that I had the heat shield.

I have the Ramair kit on mine... if you're expecting induction roar you may be disappointed.

Sounds a bit more wheezy generally.

When 'giving it some', you get a pssshhh from the turbo coming off the gas at full throttle.

Do you just have the induction kit?

Mine is quite loud, but it has other bits on it so could those.

Save your money; you won't get induction whoosh, and if you did it's annoying when you try t drive more than about 5 miles.
