Random question Force/Pressure/Water

Morph

Recommended Posts

I’m making a water feature so I’ve turned a alloy wheel upside down, filled the bottom in (spoke area), lined it with plastic, tied the plastic off around the rim and filled with water. I’m finding the water is making it’s way up the crease’s of the plastic on the inside and over the top. How can I prevent this?

Applying something to reduce the attraction of water to the plastic will tackle the wicking. A silicone-based polish should work for a while and a snearing with silicone grease will work for longer.

Also, Rain-X may work.
