Brake Pads and Brake Sensor Superb Combi 2.0 TDI manual

Featured Replies

I have 117.000 km on my car (73000 miles) and I'm still running on the original TRW brake pads front and rear. There's still some thread left but I think I'm going to replace them soon but just to make sure, specially the rears, as I don't know if they have a wear sensor.

- Do you know if rear brake pads have a wear sensor?

- What TRW numbers should be used in a Superb Combi 2.0 TDI manual from 2017? Are those reference numbers OK?

TRW - GDB1956

TRW - GDB1957

Thanks in advanced,

Those are the correct TRW front and rear brake pads. The front 312mm brakes are a TRW system, whereas the rear 300mm brakes are an ATE system. You might find that the original rear pads are branded ATE. The rear brake pads don't have a wear sensor.
