Picking up a used Skoda Scala - any advice

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm picking up a used Skoda Scala for my wife on Friday. Any advice on things to check? Does the dealer need to sort out Skoda Connect?

Thanks.

If the car is older than a year you have to pay for skoda-connect. £44 per year and £33 for Myskoda app if less than a year you get the remainder as it stays with the vehicle you have to register with skoda-connect.com goes of the cars vin

You’d be better checking things like fluids, tyre pressures, documentation etc. Connect would be bottom of my list to check. In fact, it wouldn’t even feature.

Hi

Thanks I'll be checking those bits too. Hopefully all should be ok as the car will be serviced prior to collection.

Thanks for the info. The car is over 2 years old so I guess I'll have to pay. Would you say Skoda connect is good and worth having? Do you need it for OTA software updates?
