Front inner brake pipes corroded

Featured Replies

Hi All, new forum member here. Today I went to change the front brake hoses on my Mk1 Octavia VRS but discovered that the ends of the hard brake pipes that screw into the hoses and go back into the engine bay are corroded quite badly and so could do with replacing, but I can't seem to find any info at all on these pipes. Does anyone have part numbers for these? Or experience with changing them? I'm bracing myself for it to be an awful job to do 😬😬😬

Does this help?

LLLParts

  • 2 weeks later...

Peter,

A quick question, have you or anyone you know bought parts from the LLLParts company you mention?.

The reason is I ordered a part from them on April 29th and am getting no reply when contacting them, so have cancelled the order

and asked for a refund.

Thanks

Peter

I've had a several of orders from them and although not the fastest delivery I did get everything and when one order was notified as being shipped and nothing after 5 days a quick email and it was sorted and got the order 2 days later

Hi Nige8021,

Thats reassuring I guess, tho', when I checked my order on their website in 3 different locations the total price was different. also the

registered address is a supermarket !!.

Thanks for the update

Peter
