2 months after..

Recommended Posts

So here I am after a bit more than 2 months and 3000km.

I bought a pre-owned superb combi, 1.5 tsi dsg, style trim (xenon, leather, vented&heated seats, blind spot monitor, acc,...).

The car is comfy, well suited for long journeys, the engine is sober (6.5l/100km so far) and quite responsive. I was afraid about the size of the car but thanks to the rear camera and the parking sensors it's easy to manœuvre and to park in the garage (5m x 2.4m). The car is long but the length is essentially "behind", making the car not that different to my previous Golf mk6.

Lot of space of course, no problems so far beside a minor malfunction of the blind spot monitor which will likely be solved by the dealer. BTW I also discovered that the car servicing is every 2 years (or 30000km) and not every year as I expected.

The simple reason is that they share the same MQB plateform. To say it very simply, up to the B-pilar, a Mk3 Superb is more or less like a Golf.
