NEW Citigo owner & PID

Featured Replies

Hi there, this is my first post on here. I have recently brought myself a 2014 Citigo, great little car! My dash doesn't have temp or rev counter clocks. I was wondering if i was to buy a used PID would that display that information for me and if so would it still give me that information if i was to buy a vw/seat unit?

Thanks.

I thought they all got a rev counter on the standard dash? A small clock on bottom left of dash? What model did you buy?

PID does display a temp. gauge if you want it to.

Thanks for the reply, my model is a citigo s 12v. Here's a link for a pic of the speedo Skoda_Citigo_Instrument_Cluster_Speedome

You got no petrol gauge either. My CitiGo has revcounter on the left and fuel gauge on the right.

I bought a used Garmin PID off eBay, it’s shows Skoda on boot up but I understand that is the only difference between UP/CitiGo/Mii.
YES, the Garmin does show water temp and revs side by side. It is also a sat nav, and a screen that shows instantaneous mpg, journey mpg, average speed and other such like info, and also a screen that shows radio/cd/aux info.   I still finding out more info, I only had my car for less than a month and the wife even less on hers.

Hi, thanks for the replies. Big help! The petrol gauge is on the lcd screen at the bottom middle. To be honest i thought that was a bit odd!!

Anyone got instructions to use the Garmin PID circa 2015.???

I am using it but instructions may mean I can use it more meaningfully, especially the sat nav.

Having that link to instructions has already benefitted me.
I have all my favourite cd’s and LP’s on USB but I don’t have usb in the CitiGo. When I bought the Garmin PID I didn’t notice the micro SD card slot. Instructions told me about it, copied all my music from USB to micro SD and now have my favourites at hand.

Lots to learn. Pity it still not available for updates.
