Just to update you all. Springs were fitted yesterday, car drives and pulls caravan fine, drove about 120 miles yesterday. In the end the bill was 312 euros. 63 plus vat for labour ( hour and half). Each spring was 98.80 plus vat. They fitted Febi Bilstein 46925 which is Specced as 1K0511115BH, as original. They are advertised on Autodoc France at under 30 euros Inc vat!!!!

Onward and southward.

Normal French retail margin, they will have paid less than the Autodoc prix publique.

Enjoy the rest of your touring with peace of mind!

Hi All

An option listed for Springs on AutoDoc is “Bad Road” as against normal/std or sports

Does anyone know what the difference is and are the other features in the suspension or car you fit “Bad Road” to any?

2022 superb 4x4 170 tdi estate

Already got B6 to fit

Thanks

Bad Road springs are most likely springs for cars equipped with rough road package. They have a little higher riding height, I think it was 20 mm?

If you mount these springs on the rear you also have to mount them on the front side (and maybe also mount matching shock absorbers?)

You can open an account on "skoda parts com" and park your Skoda in the garage with its VIN number. This apparently lets you get the OEM part numbers of various parts free of charge.
