Hi All,  Just wondering if any of you have fixed this issue without a dealer visit.  1 month old L&K IV Estate and no matter which way I try - Button in car / Keyfob / Boot Release buttor / Swipe of the foot - Invariably about 70% of the time I try and open the boot it opens half way an then on the next press iteith opens fully or closes.  Is this a setting I can change or do I just need to press the button and run away from the back of the car so it cant see me and think I am an obstacle???

Try opening fully then press and hold the open button on the tailgate until it beeps. That should reset the height and it should be OK.... Hopefully ...

You can set it to only open to any height you like, doesn’t have to be halfway

 

It is a convenience feature, so if you have underground car park etc your boot doesn’t smack into the roof
