Featured Replies

Hello,

So after a rain i got some leakage on the pillar. Car is without sunroof.. Any ideas from there this leak could be? Can it be a front window?

Has your windscreen ever been replaced?

The pillar trim comes off easily, but with your airbag, disconnect the battery, pop off the airbag cover and unscrew. Then the trim pops off with clips.

You might then get a better picture where the water is coming in.

It's a bit tricky then there is a airbag... I will try to do it.

No need to disconnect the battery, you are not working on the electrical system or the ignitor circuit, removing the cover will not disturb the airbag & even if it did it would not cause any problems.

From the dampness of the headlining I would say the water ingress is higher than the windscreen, I would suspect the roof rail fixings.
