There are texts online and videos on YT showing how to DIY fix for cheap or you can spend £££'s fitting a new part.

Cheers mate just had a butchers and it looks like I need the plastic manifold type just ordered one but it also looks like I have to remove the manifold as the screws are round the back unlike the metal manifold,,, Grrrrrrr 🤣. Let’s hope this works. 
do you know what it actually does or doesn’t do to cause the EML?? 🤣,, does it have to do with idling or revs ???

If you butchers more you'll see the variable flap manifold has a position sensor, wear in the mechanism causes a sense error, easy enough to DIY fix or buy a complete new part as you have.

I’ve bought the DIY fix,, that aluminium bit that bolts on to stop the lever moving to far forward. 
cheers mate. Hope this works it’ll save me a couple pounds. I guess if it don’t it’ll be a complete unit
