Hello, more advice sought please 🙂

I’ve just sold my Yeti roof bars (genuine Skoda make) so now I need some for my Karoq, trawling the internet I can’t decide between the Thule or the Skoda roof bars. Any opinions gratefully received. 😎

Do a search on this forum. There are Italian bars for under £30 with a more than adequate load rating that will fit.

I haven't used Skoda, but understand they are quite similar to Thule so should perform just as well. But the thing I love about Thule is their flexibility over time. I have use them for years with all my previous cars since the 1990s and just transferred them from car to car by changing the feet. You can also get matching key locks for the feet, bike carriers etc so 1 key locks/unlocks everything. For me, this advantage makes up for the initial cost.

I use roof bars frim aldi, think they were about £35. They fit my 18 reg karoq and now fit my 21 reg

Hello, I decided to go for the genuine Skoda Karoq roof bars as I had Skoda Yeti bars before and never had a problem, also I think it’s easier to sell in future if the item is genuine Skoda. I’ve fitted them once and removed them and they seem to be very secure, next job is to fit my Thule kayak accessory to them.
