Fuel lines?

Featured Replies

I've looked at an old post regarding fuel lines for 1.6tdi CAYC engine and found that at face value mine appear to differ ...

Can someone with a (working!) Greenline 2 have butchers under their bonnet and let me know please?

There are a few different types of filter.

It seems like I have Type A fitted, and all lines fitted correctly.

I was hoping this was going to resolve the low speed diesel knocking the car suffers with. (Which is much improved when Forte is added)

Looking at your picture the filter doesn't look like it's been touched in a while ? might pay to replace the filter element ?

I'll admit the filter cap is a mess, but the filter was changed about 5k ago ... and a right pain it was to prime afterwards!

I have no problems at all with my 2.0 tdi Yeti, but when I change the fuel filter on the 1.6 tdi it needs manual priming every time, even vcds fails.
