Upgrading 2015 Bolero head unit.

Featured Replies

Hi, I want to upgrade my 2015 Bolero head unit in my Skoda Octavia VRS.

I have no idea where to start so would want to take it to someone who would install for me🙈

Anyone on here that would be interested? I live in the South West 😊

Thanks

Hi! I want to add SmartLink (and Android Auto) to a 2015 Octavia Mk3 which I reserved yesterday, but haven't yet collected - however I can do it!! I also need someone who will install 🙈

I would really like this too having had smartlink once before. I was told by main dealer that it was possible, booked it in and then was told that it wasn’t compatible. Mine is a 16plate 2.0 TDI SE.
i think it might be v expensive if it is possible (£700ish).
very keen to hear other experience and expertise

Pab567 on this forum said he could supply the parts for mine for well under that.

I bought a 2016 and it could have smart link! I was quoted £151 to have it switched on. Unfortunately the car had swarf in the engine and was scrapped!!
