Additional Aftermarket Security

Featured Replies

Anyone use a Disc Lock or Stop lock on their Octavia SEL Mk4 two spoke steering wheel? Interested in comments.

Any other aftermarket security measures anyone reccomends?  Cat protection?

Cheers in advance for any advice or reccomendations. BRS

A Ghost Security System is an invisible way of preventing theft. Sometimes a visible one may help too.

I use a silver Disclock on my MY21 vRS. It certainly reassures me as despite using faraday bags I’m more than a little paranoid about keyless entry signal grabbers … at least I’ve done all I can, alongside front/rear cameras with parking function too. .

Zedboy - what size disclock?

Skoda badge is the first deterrent.   High risk of theft are Mk1 Fabia, Octavia etc.

Being a Mk4 Octavia as any respectable thief will know of possible Software issues.

If the car does not start it could be a Security System or maybe a PHEV / iV with a flat 12v battery.

I got the small - fits perfectly - silver too, and actually looks good with my silver Octy!
