Featured Replies

Hi all

Just a quick question i bought a 2008 Skoda Fabia 1.2 Htp with 185,000 miles with some service history im wondering if i need to replace the timing chain at 200,000 miles? i cant see when or if its ever been changed, it drives & runs really good

Welcome.

Fantastic.

I think i would leave well alone and do oil and filter changes regularly, change the spark plugs if needed & the air filer and check the coolants strength.

Others that know the engines might know better than me.

Good advice ^

It's probably likely to last longer without intrusive 'surgery' than with, I'd say.
