Fabia 2 Monte carlo wheel offset

Featured Replies

hi, just wondering if you all might be able to help,

My other half has a Fabia 2 Monte Carlo and the wheels dont seem to hold pressure for long which i assume is down to corrosion. Given the age of the car i am not able to find anything decent on ebay etc wheels wise that doesnt look a hundred times worse than whats on it now.

Im considering buying some new wheels for it from somewhere like Demon Tweeks and basically wondered if anyone can confirm the offset.

i assume the pcd is 5x100 but ive had a search and read on google but have read mixed things regarding offset.

thanks

What size of wheel and tyre are you going to fit?

currently they are standard 17 inch wheels and i believe they are 195/45/R17 so basically looking to stick to the same size but want to make sure the offset is the same to avoid any potential issues.

Lots of listings for ET45 17" wheels for Fabia 2 which is what I'd expect and one for ET48 which might be a mistake,   If you want to be sure, pull off a wheel and the ET will be cast in the reverse of the centre boss or one of the spokes.

thank you for the information

any decent tyre place can remove the tyres, clean the bead and refit / seal, lot cheaper than new wheels

Monte carlo and vRS alloys are ET 41

its been done several times and still keeps happening and she cannot be without the car while wheels are refurbed which makes it tricky as well

In the UK the OEM / standard tyre fitment on a Monte Carlo with and engine is 205/40R17 so if someone fitted 195/45 R 17 then fair enough. Some do.     Briskoda For Sale ads sometimes has wheel / tyres suitable near enough if you are lucky.
