Superb 1.6tdi Coil Issues Relay Location

Featured Replies

Evening all, I'm looking for some help for my 2013 superb estate 1.6tdi.

The coil light light up on the dashboard a last week.  I changed the coils....but...the light is still on and the car still has reduced power.

Someone mentioned perhaps changing the relay. Where would that be located and can I do it myself.

Thanks in advance....

As in the glow plug light? Believe it or not - Put some new brake light bulbs in and check your brake fluid is topped up.

Thanks for the reply StevesTruck, yes sorry the glow plug light. I'll try that. Seems like a basic solution if even for more.

Automatic glow period control unit is in the relay holder below the E-box, apparently. Position 2 of the two possibilities.

Hi Breezy_Pete thanks for reply. I'm goimg to try the first suggestion and then the relay holder.

Where is the location for this and the E box? Thanks

E-box is the big box full of fuses and relays in the engine bay.

That light can come on for a lot of things
