Hi all, looking for someone with VCDS closeby. I am visiting family and my superb has come.up with a light bend fault I understand @micloi may be closeby to Warwick / Leamington?

You may wish to edit your car to add a year it was made to assist, as some new cars need a more modern cable to talk to the car.

At a guess, either water ingress to the underside of the headlight or a damaged level sensor :)

 

It'll probably just mean the headlight drop to a 'safe' mode to avoid glare to other drivers. If you minimise night time driving, you'll probably be OK until you get home.

@langers2k thanks, will VCDS confirm which of these issues is responsible?

I don't want to jinx it but yes, I would expect the fault codes to give a good indication of where the issue is :)
