Software 1896 and Apple CarPlay has stopped working

Featured Replies

Anyone got any ideas? Just picked up my car from Skoda and I cannot connect it to Apple CarPlay. Tried forgetting the phone and reconnecting and rebooting the system with no joy. Just says “sorry, unable to connect your mobile device”

Have you tried to reset both CarPlay (Settings > General > CarPlay > your car name > Forget this car) and Bluetooth pairing?

You should also try to reconnect your device by a cable.
