I just got my new kamiq 2 weeks ago. How do I play my music? my previous karoq used an sd card. Also, why can't I get a download or hard copy of the infotainment manual.

 

I suspect you probably now have USB-C connection for your music, and SD Cards are being dropped by car manufacturers.  The alternative is Android Auto / Apple carplay where you "share" your screen or "cast" whatever the term is your phone's interface onto the radio, and you play music on your phone and it comes through speakers.

 

Hardcopy manuals are being phased out, as once printed... any alterations will not be reflected of course, whereas online they can alter the infomation easily and edit/adjust as needed.

I don't mind having an out of date version as long as I can get to the nitty-gritty of how to operate the basics

Is there anything specific to your radio you need, do you know which one your car has fitted?

I find the downloadable manual very comprehensive and easy to navigate on my iPad. However, I’ve just looked on the Skoda site and they seem to have changed the format of the manual from June onwards. Mine is a pdf, whereas the new one is a webform and I agree, there is not much detail in it. My version is 30Mb so I can’t attach it but if you want to pm me I’ll happily email it to you.

I have just said hello on the main board having taken delivery of my brand new Kamiq this week.

 

I have the same issues as the OP as I find the provided manual and the online manual lacking in detail!

 

Marineboy, I have the same model i.e., Kamiq SEL Executive 1.5TSI DSG as you.
