Help Please, Cooling Issue

Featured Replies

I have a question about my cooling system that I was hoping you could help with.

My Skoda Superb 2010  TDi 125 is running cold. In the morning I drive for 30mins to work and the temp stays on 50C. On the way home it rises to 60C. Left running in the driveway it reaches 90C and stays there.

Thinking it was a thermostat I had my local mechanic replace it, but the symptoms are identical.

Are you able to help with the next thing to check?

Your help would be much appreciated.

search the forum for dsg thermostat. assuming yours is a DSG (auto gearbox) that is your answer .

Thanks for your help. I finally got round to changing the DSG Thermostat and all temperate issues are resolved.

Thanks once again
