Lowering springs on skoda octavia mk3 vrs 2016

Featured Replies

I want to lower my mk3 skoda octavia vrs, but its got Dcc suspension levelling control. So I want to find out, what is the lowest in mm's that I can safely lower without upsetting the leveling control on the shocks. I have looked online and it is a bit of a minefield of what too look at for lowered springs. My car is 2wd and has independent suspension. I need advice and help please.

Pretty sure that DCC is not levelling control. Just damping adjust. Should be able to get away with H&R (40mm) or eibach prokit (35mm). Worth noting that these figures are based on standard ride height and DCC is already 10mm down so they'd be 30mm and 25mm respectively.

The vrs is 15mm lower from factory so the "40mm" h+r springs give a 25mm drop.

The DCC on the superb is the same (reduced) height regardless of other spec levels. So sportline that is usually 15mm lower is only 10mm lower with DCC. Is it the same with the Octavia?
