This is a picture of my accelerator pedal, anyone know how to disconnect it ?

Is that a red button you press on the right side or is that something else?

 

Hi NZ, does that latch move in towards the cable side of the connector when pressed? - if so, a pretty good bet it's a bail-catch release for the connector.

Hi W, not touched anything yet, just waiting to see what response I get first. Couldn't tell if the round bit and the bit with red on were one piece. Thanks.

Lift the red tab, press down the red tab as you press the plug further on slightly. Will hear a very small click, pull plug off.
