DCC shocks replacement and water pump

Featured Replies

Just had my Sportline 280 serviced by a local garage, they advised that the front shocks are starting to weep. Looks like a £1000 bill to replace both - not impressed for a car that's only just 5 years old with 31k on the clock. Also advised that the water pump is also weeping - another £700!!

Has anyone else had similar issues (2017 Sportline 280 4x4)? Any chance of getting Skoda to fund part of the work?

Many will be told there is weeping or misting with the dampers and they might or might need replacing, some will be reported year after year as weeping or misting.    As to the water pump, that needs action. That will mean replacing.
