I have 2012 ŠKODA Octavia Diesal. A month ago, I put the wrong fuel in by mistake. (Petrol instead of Diesal) I towed her to my mechanic, the fuel was drained and fuel filter reset. The egr and dpf have been cleared and she recently had a full service. Happy days. Since then, it’s been running strange. The symptoms are occasional loss of acceleration on the highway and a weird loss/occasional engine cutout when I’m down changing gears through corners, then attempting to accelerate out. I’ve put fuel line cleaner in (may have put too much) and the car seems to run better when it’s full of Diesal. Has anyone had similiar issues, or knows why the engine pressure and fuel seem off? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Did you run it at all on the wrong fuel?

Yeah. A little, then she cut out

Doesn't take much to hurt a fuel pump on a commonrail. Open your diesel filter up and see if there's any metal particles in it.
