Terraclean 2017 1.6 diesel

Spoiler

Hi guys

Iam.wondering if anyone can shed a light what's going on here. Today I went for a terraclean before the guy did it he scan my car for any faults unaware to me there was codes stored in the ecu..I've had the car since brand new its ever had a engine management light on drives superb allways regens correctly its on 200k full skoda service history never had anything wrong since the car was born now these codes have came up as ...po200000.

Po23700

U11f500

Po64100

Po65100

Po69700

Again the car drives faultlessly but why have I got these codes in ecu... I scaned the car with a cheap reader but it's came up as no codes stored... but the techs scanner was a snap on reader ... but why haven't I got a light on .. unfortunately I couldn't get it terracleaned today any answers would be brilliant as I.love my skoda

Thanks all for taking the time to read this

If you love your car get a proper diagnosis of any fault codes and issues.  Then swerve the Terraclean.   Service and maintain the car and if there are DPF or EGR issues have them dealt with.  IMO.

Terraclean can only offer at the very best only a short term improvement, so it's not value for money IMHO.

Get a scan done with a VAG specific fault code reader (e.g. VCDS, OBDEleven, etc.)  as generic devices often miss many faults and usually give limited information.

As a positive, this means you didn't buy any snake oil yesterday. I agree with @roottoot and @PetrolDave about scanning with a better scanner, and then fix those faults only.

Terraclean is the biggest con going.... Never seen a true fix from it. Its simply putting water mist into the engine and saying its now lovely and clean. Snake oil, placebo. Whatever you want to call it, its a joke.

Now if you actually have problems relating to carbon build up then first you need to find out why and fix this, then a proper cleaning method such as walnut blasting is required.

Ohh there are far bigger ones, climate change, religion, life after death to name three...

My concern would be displacing any crap from further up the fuel system and it ending up in the injectors. Particularly on something with as fragile injectors as you find on a 1.6TDI.

More so than RedeX, first available in 1953 (or possibly earlier)?

A quick google suggests:

P2000 - NOx Trap Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1

P0237 - Manifold Pressure / Boost Sensor (G31): Signal too Low

U11F5 - Likely DPF related?

P0641 - Sensor Reference Voltage "A" Circuit/Open

P0651 - Sensor Reference Voltage "B" Circuit/Open

P0697 - Sensor Reference Voltage "C" Circuit/Open

If I were you, I'd get a local VCDS user to perform a scan. At the very least that will give you a little more information including if the codes are current or historic and when they last occurred.

Can you elaborate what the issue was and how you fixed it? Might help someone in future :)
